Overview

The project aimed to redesign the puppy buying page on an existing website ‘abcpuppy.com’ to enhance the user experience, improve usability, and eliminate repetitive data on the puppy buying page to create a more user-friendly and engaging interface.

Problem Statement

The original puppy buying page on abcpuppy.com had several usability issues:

  1. Poor  User  Experience: The layout was cluttered, making it difficult for users to navigate and find relevant information.
  2. Repetitive  Data: Redundant information was displayed, causing confusion and frustration for users.
  3. Lack  of  Visual  Hierarchy: Important details like puppy descriptions, pricing, and availability were not prominently displayed.
  4. Mobile  Unfriendliness: The page was not optimized for mobile devices, leading to a poor experience for a significant portion of users

Goals

  1. Improve the overall user experience by simplifying the interface.
  2. Eliminate repetitive data to reduce confusion.
  3. Enhance visual hierarchy to highlight key information.
  4. Ensure the design is responsive and mobile-friendly.
  5. Increase user engagement and conversion rates.

Design & Development Process

  1. User Research & Analysis
    • Conducted a usability audit to identify pain points.
    • Analyzed user behavior and feedback to determine the key improvements.
  2. UI/UX Enhancements
    • Implemented a cleaner and more visually appealing design.
    • Optimized information hierarchy to ensure users find details quickly.
  3. Fixing Data Redundancy
    • Identified and removed repetitive data fields.
    • Ensured that critical information was displayed efficiently without unnecessary duplication.
  4. Testing & Iteration
    • Conducted A/B testing to compare the old and new versions.
    • Collected feedback and refined the design based on user insights.

Results & Impact

The redesigned Puppy Buying Page led to significant improvements:
